The 45.500 C with the 4H 1M fly jib fitted: ten hydraulic booms instead of six, 29.7 m of height and 26.5 m of horizontal reach on the levers alone. The jib adds 800 kg over the base machine and 0.2 m of chassis, and in exchange it takes the hook 31.4 m off the ground and 28.1 m out. It keeps the same 420° of slew, the same 300 bar and the same 23-tonne minimum GVW.

In tank farms and process plants the problem is not weight, it is getting there. With 29.7 m of hydraulic height the jib clears a tank, a pipe rack or a bund wall and comes down the other side without the truck entering the area.
