Telescopic knuckle-boom crane from Next Hydraulics of Italy, rated 37 kNm of lifting moment, that is 3.8 tonne-metres. It slews a full 360 degrees on a worm screw and works at 220 bar on a 12 to 15 litre per minute flow, so it runs off the truck PTO or off a 24 V electro-hydraulic power pack. The customer receiving the load almost never has a forklift, and the driver ends up waiting or unloading by hand. With the crane fitted, the truck arrives, slews a full 360 degrees on its own axis and sets up to 2,650 kg beside the column exactly where the customer wants it. On a jobsite the truck can rarely park next to the drop point. On the four-extension version the crane reaches 5.79 metres hydraulically and gets to 6.79 metres on the manual extension, still with 500 kilos on the hook. The extendable stabilisers on the base work on up to 5 degrees of slope, which is about what an ungraded jobsite gives you.
